CHI-RHO and CYF Mid-winter 2008

The Chi-Rho and CYF Mid-winter will be held on February 15-17, 2008.
(note that this is a combined event for Chi-Rho and CYF age groups)

Golf Tournament Fund Raiser:  Our annual tournament has been scheduled for June 28, 2008 at the Brent Bruehl Memorial Golf Course in Purcell. There will be an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.

 

The summer camp schedule for 2008 is shown below.   Information regarding costs and directors for each camp will be released as soon as they are made known.  Below are the things you do and do not need at camp:

What to Bring to Camp

Pillow, sheets blanket or bed roll (bunks have mattresses)

Extra pair of shoes

Pair of socks per day

Change of clothes per day (shorts, jeans, T-shirts dress up clothes not needed)

Change of underwear per day

Light jacket

Hat (optional)

Swimsuit

Rainy-day outfit (in case of rain???)

Tissues or handkerchiefs

Bath towels (at least one extra)

Grooming items (soap in a container, shampoo, toothpaste, brush, etc.)

Insect repellent

Robe and pajamas (showers and toilets may be a short walk from the cabin)

Smiles (camp is no place for crabby people)

 

Plus...

Flashlight

Bible

Drinking cup

Letters-to-home kit (paper, envelopes, pen and stamps)

Money for; Offering, Canteen (cokes, fruit drinks and candy bars are sold)

Camp T-shirt (if you want one)

DO NOT BRING!!!

Fireworks, Drugs*, Alcohol, Tobacco, Knives

Weapons of any kind These are against camp regulations and you will be sent home at your own expense if you have them in your possession.

Frowns (you don't need 'em)

The Disciples Mission Fund helps defray the cost of Disciples' camps.
